ABOUT PARKING IN DOWNTOWN SAVANNAH...... The historic District has approximately 3,000 parking meters. Time limits range from 15 minutes to 10 hours, and the cost, per hour, ranges from .30 to .75 depending on the location. The meters are STRICTLY regulated from 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday (excluding legal holidays).

A visitor DAYPASS allows unlimited parking in any City parking garage/lot, parking overtime in limited time zones or at any parking meter with a time limit of one hour or more for a period of 48 hours from the time of purchase. The visitor DAYPASS is available to Savannah visitors for a price of $12 for two days and $7 for a single day. The DAYPASS is available at many hotels and inns as well as the Visitors Center and the Parking Services office. For more information call Parking Services (912) 651-6470.
