Built in 1820 by Isaiah Davenport, in the Federal Style.
Now a museum featuring fine plaster work and period furnishings.

GREEN-MELDRIM HOUSE, Bull St. at Madison Square
General Sherman's Civil War headquarters. Designed by John Norris,
and built for Charles Green in the 1850's.

JULIETTE GORDON LOW BIRTHPLACE
Bull Street at Oglethorpe
Built 1818-1821, it is the national center for the Girl Scouts. Juliette Gordon was born here in 1860.

LEE AND EMMA ADLER HOUSE, 425 Bull Street
Built in 1858 for Rev. Charles Rogers. This was the home of
Jim Williams' rival, Lee Adler. They feuded over their different
perspectives of preservation.

MERCER HOUSE, 429 Bull Street
This mansion was designed in 1860 for Hugh W. Mercer (Johnny Mercer's great-grandfather. Due to the Civil War, the house was
not completed until about 1868. Jim Williams bought the

OWENS-THOMAS HOUSE, Reynolds Square
This house was designed by Willilam Jay and built in 1816-1819,
with a formal English garden and carriage house. One of the
finest examples of English Regency Architecture.
