THE HISTORIC SAVANNAH THEATRE
The theatre opened its doors in 1818 and is the oldest continually operating theatre
in the US. The threatre was eventually turned into a movie house, but in the late
70's it was purchased by Little Theatre of Savannah. This beautiful art deco building
was renovated in 2002 with the latest in sound/picture technology. 222 Bull Street

The SAVANNAH GAY & LESBIAN FILM SOCIETY
presents year round cinema that supports and strengthens Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual
and Transgender visibility through media arts. The SGLFS provides access to films
that provide both entertainment aspects and deal with a wide variety of issues related
to sexuality and gender, thus serving the educational and cultural needs of its
audiences. The SGLFS is sponsored by First City Network in collaboration with Reel
Woman Productions. The Film Series debuts September 21, 2008 at the Jepson Center

SAVANNAH CIVIC CENTER
The Savannah Civic Center is responsible for providing a wide spectrum of entertainment
and cultural events while also hosting conventions, exhibit shows and social events.
The Savannah Civic Center is located on the corner of Liberty and Montgomery Streets.
The Administrative Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The Box
Office, located on the Orleans Square side of the building, operates Monday through
Friday from 10 AM to 5 PM , as well as specified hours on show days and nights.
